Clap Executive Guest Chair

Comfortable and functional, the director’s chair is one of the icons of the twentieth century that has won the most acclaimed film-maker for its practicality: it folds on itself and it can be moved easily. Over time, the director’s chair also captivated designers, from Marcel Breuer on, who have ventured into the study of this piece of furniture, since it is the real essence of the design concept, in which aesthetics is at the service of functionality and vice versa. Counting on the capability of i 4 Mariani and on the research made on the most noble materials undertaken by the Comapany, Umberto Asnago with the Clap project made his own personal interpretation of the director’s chair. Elegant and minimalist, Clap is a concentrate of design and productive excellence.
